Together we Can – Giving Garden Foundation

Want to see your recycling efforts directly help a non-profit in Gloucester? You can! Simply collect your aluminum beverage cans and drop them off at one of the Giving Garden Foundation’s (a 501c3 nonprofit in Gloucester that provides financial assistance to cancer patients in Gloucester and Mathews counties, and works to bridge the gap between existing resources and patients’ unmet needs) three can cottage locations – the Abingdon Ruritan Club (Guinea Road), Main Street Shopping Center (Main Street, Gloucester), and Mathews High School (Buckley Hall Road).

The Giving Garden also has collection receptacles to put in business break-rooms. Volunteers can help by picking up cans from cottage and business sponsors on a bi-weekly basis.
