Puller Center Business Lunch

This luncheon is open to business and community leaders and there is no cost to attend. Local businesses can create new jobs and opportunities for people with disabilities to work and be active parts of our community. Come learn how the Puller Center can become a business asset and partner!

 

Clean Gloucester Day

The 6th annual Clean Gloucester Day will take place on the 19th of March, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, where hundreds of volunteers will collect tons of trash, litter, and debris through the county.

The 30th Annual Daffodil Festival will be held on Saturday, April 2nd & April 3rd on Main Street in Gloucester Courthouse!

 

 

Womanless Beauty Pageant

The 3rd Annual Womanless Beauty Pageant will be held at the Gloucester Moose Lodge on the 16th of April from 7-11 PM. Proceeds will benefit The Giving Garden Foundation and Women of the Moose Community Projects! Tickets are $15 per person in advance, and $20 at the door. Tickets are available at The Courthouse Restaurant, Eggheads Diner, Big Bob’s Flooring Outlet, Juan’s Mexican Cafe and Cantina and Allstate Insurance (Marsha Weatherwax). There will be light hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, raffles, DJ, & dancing.

Gloucester Community Foundation 2016 Grants Program

The Gloucester Community Foundation is pleased to announce its 2016 community grants program, with proposals due Monday, May 2, 2016 by 4:30 pm. Guidelines and instructions for applying can be found online at www.GloucesterCF.org, clicking on “Receive” and “Apply for a Grant.”

New for 2016 – Gloucester Community Foundation, along with all affiliates of The Community Foundation, will begin using an ONLINE GRANT SYSTEM for community grants. This means emailed PDF or Word documents will not be accepted. Complete proposals must be submitted through the online system by the deadline.

Please visit www.GloucesterCF.org for guidelines and instructions, including the link to begin completing the grant application. If you are a regional organization, and have submitted a request to an affiliate foundation (Mathews CF or River Counties CF) this year, you do not need to create new credentials.
