Shop with a Cop

“Shop with a Cop” (SWAC) applications are now open until November 11, 2016! Beginning more than a decade ago, members from the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office, as an initiative to give back, began providing Christmas presents for needy families and children within Gloucester County.

From the Sheriff’s Office:
“Anyone interested in applying for holiday help from SWAC should call 804-693-6597 / extension (2) to schedule an interview appointment. The appointment coordinator will inform the applicants of the needs and requirements for applying.

Applicants who have shopped with the SWAC group the previous 2-years, unfortunately, are not eligible the third year. All applicants will be considered, however, applying for holiday assistance with SWAC, does not guarantee acceptance into the program. An applicant’s need for assistance must first be assessed and a final determination for inclusion will be made by the independent SWAC Committee. Thank you in advance.”
