Open House – Gloucester Library
National Library Week Open House and Concert! Sunday, April 9, 1:30-3:30pm, Main Library. Showcasing the many offerings the Library has – with the Main Library, Point Library, newly renovated Bookmobile and their 24/7 On-Line Branch. Meet staff, learn about programs and on-going classes and clubs! Also, at 2:00 the Gloucester Community Orchestra will present a short concert!
Lions Club – White Cane – 4/8
The next White Cane, a fundraising event for the Gloucester Lions Club, will be this Saturday, the 8th of April, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Gloucester Walmart. Hope to see you there!
Gloucester Town Hall Meeting
Be active, engaged and make your voice heard, as the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors At Large members will hold a Town Hall Meeting on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 3 p.m. in the Thomas Calhoun Walker Education Center auditorium, located at 6099 T. C. Walker Road.
Board of Supervisors members Ashley Chriscoe and John Meyer, Jr. will hold the town hall to provide citizens with an opportunity to share their comments or concerns and to ask questions about the County’s proposed budget and the transportation facility contemplated as part of the proposed capital plan.
Three or more members of the Board of Supervisors and/or School Board may also be in attendance.
Board members encourage citizens to attend this informal setting where all concerns will be heard in an open forum environment. For more information, please contact the County Administration office at 804-693-4042.
