On Friday, June 16th, from 5-7 PM, the The Courthouse Restaurant on Main Street will be hosting an All-You-Can Eat Spaghetti Dinner to benefit Meals on Wheels. The $10 donation will include endless spaghetti, salad, bread, and beverages, and take out will be available!
Funds go directly to purchase meals for Gloucester’s home-bound frail and elderly. Meals on Wheels has been a service of Bay Aging since 1978!

This event will celebrate the launch of Cowork Gloucester VA, and will give members of our community the opportunity to meet with local and regional experts that make up the Cowork Advisory Board. Co-founders Kevin Haggerty and Courtney Buzzell will also share their vision for the community, and entertain feedback from community members that attend, in regard to the benefits they would like to see Cowork Gloucester VA offer. Networking and refreshments will be available as well!
“Build a Better World,” Gloucester County Public Library’s 2017 Summer Reading Program, will be hosting a Kick-Off Summer Event THIS Saturday, June 3rd! Join them between 10:00 AM and noon to check out great books, learn about special upcoming event and activities, and much much more!

The Symphony under the Stars Family Concert will be THIS Saturday, May 27, at 8PM “on the lawn” of Main Street & Walter Reed Way!
The concert will be given by the Virginia Symphony orchestra. This is the 11th year that the Cook Foundation has organized this concert!
The public is encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. Dine on Main Street at select locations before the concert and receive 10% off at participating restaurants! Picnics are welcome too and many of the food establishments on Main Street are happy to build you a basket to take to the concert. Boy Scout Troop 111 will be on site selling food as well!
Road closures will be in effect on Main Street between Belroi Rd. (at Church of the St. Therese) and Newington Baptist Church between the hours of 6:30PM and 10:00PM to facilitate the concert. General parking will be available along Main Street, in the back lots of Newington Baptist Church and in Gloucester County Government parking lots. Special needs parking will be available at Newington Baptist Church & St. Therese by permit only.
