Registration is open for the upcoming Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) Well Water Clinics in Gloucester!
The available dates for the kickoff meeting, where participants will receive the sampling kits and instructions:
July 24th – 7:00 PM at the Gloucester Extension office (7400 Carriage Court, Gloucester Courthouse)
July 25th – 10:00 AM at the Gloucester Extension office
Samples, which cost $55 (participants can bring cash or a check made out to “VCE Gloucester” the day of the kickoff meeting), must be dropped off to either the Gloucester or Mathews Extension office by 10:00 AM on July 26th. If anyone is unable to afford the $55 sample costs, VCE does have scholarship forms you can fill out – limited funds that will be prioritized to those with the lowest income and highest need.
The interpretation meetings, where participants will receive results back, we’ll discuss common issues and remediation, and cover other well water maintenance, will be held on the following days:
August 28th – 7:00 PM at the Gloucester Extension office
August 29th – 10:00 AM at the Gloucester Extension office
Both the kickoff meeting and interpretation meeting will last about 1 hour.
If you have any questions or would like to register for the Well Water Clinic, please call or email Glenn Sturm at 804-693-2602 or firstname.lastname@example.org and provide your name, phone number, email address, and which kickoff meeting you plan to attend.
