Clean Gloucester Day Fall 2017

Clean Gloucester Day is a litter collection event for Gloucester County to make our community the most pristine county in Virginia! Organize your family, friends, church, clubs, neighborhood, work, teams and school on Saturday, October 14, to pick up litter wherever it gets your attention. The previous Clean Gloucester Day took place on Saturday, March 18, 2017. 714 volunteers took part and collected more than 19.87 tons of trash, litter, and debris. Volunteers worked along county roads gathering lumber, numerous tires, scrap metal, and 918 bags of trash.

Since its inception in 2011, more than 3,151 volunteers have collected a total of 80.09 tons of trash and litter on Clean Gloucester Day.
