Next Thursday, May 10th, Three Rivers Medical Reserve Corps, along with The Edge Worship Centre, will be hosting a meeting to discuss opioid awareness, safe medication handling, and how this national public health crisis is affecting our community! The meeting will begin at 6:00 PM and will be held at The Edge Worship Centre at 3180 King William Ave. in West Point.

All are welcome, light refreshments will be provided, and safe medication disposal bags will be available at the meeting!

The next White Cane, a fundraising event for the Gloucester Lions Club’s local community programs, will be this Saturday, the 5th of May, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Gloucester Walmart. 100% of funds donated to this event will go towards providing glasses, hearing aids, and eye exams to those who cannot afford it!
