A Taste of Gloucester

Image may contain: sky and outdoorThe Rosewell Foundation will hold “A Taste of Gloucester” from 1:00 – 4:00 PM, Sunday, October 14th. This event and fundraiser will take place at the ruins of Rosewell Mansion at 5113 Old Rosewell Lane in Gloucester. Come to the event and enjoy many of the foods and beverages from Gloucester while supporting a great organization!

Stand Up Against Suicide

The Aaron Zaruba Foundation Fund is holding a fundraiser September 22, 2018, from 6-10 PM, at the Abingdon Ruritan Club, Bena VA. The are looking for community support for the event, which can be done in several ways:
– Purchase tickets to the event or be a sponsor
-Provide an item for the silent auction and raffles, or
– Give directly to the foundation by logging on and making a donation to the Aaron Zaruba Foundation Fund at gloucestercf.org

The event is expected to draw approximately 300 supporters and participating businesses, and donor’s logo/graphics will be displayed at the event.

Free Remote Area Medical Clinic

Volunteers are need on November 3rd and 4th (Saturday and Sunday) at Ware Academy (7936 John Clayton Mem Hwy in Gloucester) to assist with a Free Remote Area Medical Clinic being held that weekend. Dental, vision, and medical professionals are needed, as well as volunteers to help with registration, interpretation, and other miscellaneous jobs.
