Gloucester Clean Community’s Fall Clean Gloucester Day will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Individuals, groups, and businesses are encouraged to help the community by participating in this county-wide litter cleanup! In the event of inclement weather, the cleanup will be re-scheduled for Saturday, October 20, 2018.
The Clean Community Office provides litter cleanup supplies including litter grabbers, buckets and trash bags. Coordinator Leslie Bowie reports that most participants have identified a preferred cleanup location, but the office can also suggest areas where litter collects.
Registration forms for the event are available on the Clean Community website CleanGloucesterDay.com. Interested volunteers may also contact the Clean Community Office at 693-5370.

Volunteers may pick up supplies in advance at the Clean Community Office or at the staging area next to the Main Library on the morning of the cleanup. In fall of 2017, approximately 150 volunteers participated in the Fall Cleanup and removed 277 bags of trash!
